What exactly is Paint Protection Film (PPF)?
PPF is a highly durable, transparent thermoplastic polyurethane shield applied to your vehicle's exterior. It is engineered to absorb the impact of road debris, rocks, and bug acids, protecting your factory clear coat from chips, scratches, and chemical stains.
Does the film actually "self-heal"?
Yes! Our PPF features an advanced elastomeric topcoat. When exposed to heat—whether from the sun, warm water, or a heat gun—the polymer structure dynamically reshapes itself, making fine scratches and swirl marks literally disappear.
How long does Armada PPF last?
With proper maintenance, high-quality PPF can last anywhere from 5 to 10 years. Its longevity depends on environmental conditions, daily driving habits, and how well the vehicle is maintained.
How long does the installation process take?
Precision takes time. A standard front-end protection package usually takes 1 to 2 days, while a full-body wrap requires 3 to 5 days. This allows for meticulous paint preparation, seamless application, and proper curing time so the edges lock down perfectly. Working days varies depending on our partner shop's lead times and schedules. Please inquire respectively
Can I wash my car normally after it is installed?
You will need to wait at least 7 days after installation before washing your car to allow the adhesive to fully cure. After that, you can maintain it normally! We highly recommend the two-bucket hand wash method or touchless car washes to maximize the lifespan of the high-gloss topcoat.
